A couple of comments I heard from students were:
“I liked that he didn’t sugarcoat the message”
“He told it as it is!”
“I really believe he got the message to my fellow students”
His matter of fact presentation carries such a “real” feel to it that it really engaged the students and community members. Our student body has sat through many “canned” presentations over the years and Rod breaks that mold immediately.
